Howdy. I am an officer with the Texas Ten Horns up in Hunt County Texas. Our club is at the Jacob's Plain Gun Range. We are hosting the very first NCOWS Regional Championships in November and I wanted to let you know about it in case any of your club members want to participate. Shooters must be members of NCOWS but they can join for $20 when they show up if they are not NCOWS members already. The National Congress of Old West Shootist is an organization that stresses authenticity of clothing and firearms than does SASS. A miss is 10 seconds compared to 5. Targets are further away. Our club website give details about the match and has a link to NCOWS on it as well.  It can be found at www.texastenhorns.com.  We know not all SASS folks like the NCOWS style of match, but some love it.
 
Oh, and we have started offering at our SASS and NCOWS monthly matches a Cody / Dixon category too for those who are interested.
